Travelling to Ireland

Flights

There are direct flights to Dublin from all the major European cities. You may also travel to Ireland by sea from Britain or France. The two most frequently used airlines for reaching Ireland by aeroplane are:

Aer Lingus

and

Ryanair

Insurance

Before travelling to Ireland, all students participating in ATC Language & Travel programmes must arrange their own insurance against all expenses that might arise due to accident, illness or loss of personal effects and money. ATC Language & Travel can arrange medical insurance only for those who are studying for 3 months or longer. The cost of this is €90. If you wish to book this medical insurance please indicate this on your booking form.

Visa

Students attending ATC Language & Travel courses from EU countries do not need a visa to enter Ireland. Students from non- EU countries may need a visa to enter the country and should check with their nearest Irish Embassy before travelling. If you think you may require a visa please see here.
