Location
The Marino Institute of Education is located only 2km from Dublin city centre. It has extensive landscaped grounds with splendid granite buildings dating back to 1900. The Institute was originally part of Lord Charlemont's estate. The nearby Casino, described as one of the finest 18th century neo-classical buildings in Ireland, was also located on his estate.
Accommodation
There are two accommodation options; single, ensuite rooms in shared apartments typically accommodating 3,4 or 5 bedrooms with seperate living area and kitchen, or standard rooms with wash hand basins and shared showers and toilets on each floor.
Sport & Recreational Facilities
Facilities include: playing fields for soccer, volleyball and other games, basketball, table tennis, common rooms. The programme in Marino is based on a cultural and recreational theme for older teenagers who are interested in learning more about Dublin.
