Location
Blackrock is a suburb of Dublin. It is a largely residential area located 8km south of the city centre. A fashionable seaside resort in the eighteenth century, the town gets its name from the black rock that lies off-shore and once marked the city limits. An ancient Celtic cross still stands on the main street.
About the College
Located 8km south of Dublin City Centre, Carysfort is a intimate campus that exudes charm and character. Surrounded by 25 acres of mature parkland, the campus has an exclusive feel.
The local seaside village of Blackrock is one of the most prestigious addresses in Dublin and all the necessary amenities are close to the campus. Blackrock DART station is located nearby and the city centre is only a 10 minute train journey or a 25 minute bus ride away.
Accommodation
All the students are accommodated in single rooms with desks and wash hand basins. Showers and toilets are situated on each corridor.
Sport & Recreational Facilities
Facilities include: gymnasium, indoor hall, numerous green spaces and grass volleyball courts, games room and common room.
